Murra, a fifteen-year-old aboriginal girl, runs away from home and takes refuge with her policeman uncle. Seeing his niece's unhappiness, he signs her up for a week-long "summer camp". The aim of this expedition to the Pilbara region (WA) was to provide an escape for the "problem" youngsters taking part. Thanks to this therapeutic trip, supervised by Mitch and Ian, Murra will begin to open up to others. What's more, she will discover a passion for photography: the four teenagers each receive a film camera as a means of expression.
